METAL PROCESS was founded in Florence in the Summer of 2016. Its purpose is to bring together some of the most skilled companies operating within the ‘small metal parts’ industry who have been working with high-end international fashion brands for decades. Metal Process aims at guaranteeing the highest quality products and the best customer service to its clients by promoting synergy between a number of companies, each one specialising in a specific phase of work. Metal Process offers flexibility and a careful service, able to comply with any client requirements and technical data sheet indication. It produces accessories to the highest standards, down to the smallest detail.
Aiming to bring to life the concepts imagined by its clients (and reflected in the technical data sheets), Metal Process designs and develops the initial 3D prototypes.
Metal Process has no restrictions when it comes to working with raw materials: from A to Z! It can process steel, brass, ecobrass and zama. For brass in particular, Metal Process uses computer numerical control (CNC) machinery, hot-pressed steel printing and microfusion whereas for zama it employs the industrial processes of die-casting or rubber printing. In order to prep the accessory for the final electroplating phase, Metal Process offers specialised services including sandblasting, vibration-casting and satin finishing.
Thanks to its know-how and to the experience of some of the best Tuscan businesses operating in this industry, Metal Process is able to provide galvanising on brass, ecobrass, zama, plastic and natural materials. Operating in compliance with the Fischer test, Metal Process abides by regulations relating to the thickness of the accessories it produces. Cooperating with businesses operating in the chemical field, Metal Process carries out compatibility and compliance tests on the accessories, following the tests that clients would normally perform on their products.Although these services wouldn’t normally be offered by those companies which create metal accessories, Metal Process believes that these are key to delivering the highest-quality products.
With the aim of conforming to the quality-standards requested by the market in which these products will come at play, Metal Process employs highly trained staff members who carry out quality control checks on the final product, which, in turn, allows for packaging requirements to be satisfied and delivery times to be met. With their long-lasting experience in this industry, the workforce in placerepresents some sort of an élite of historical production businesses, able to respond to the demands that the world of ‘luxury’ dictates over suppliers: high quality and delivery times accordant to the industry’s expectations.
